Struck by a bird? An American Airlines flight was forced to return due to an emergency

According to Fox News, on October 13, local time, an American Airlines plane that took off from Boston was forced to return due to a possible bird collision.

According to reports, American Airlines flight AA4696 took off from Boston Logan International Airport on October 13 and planned to land at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington at about 20:00 local time. It was eventually hit by possible birds. The plane incident was forced to return to the place of departure. Fox quoted a Twitter account with a brief introduction of "Southern Massachusetts Alert" as saying that the plane's forced return may be due to being hit by a bird, the plane has flaps, and the size and model of the plane are unknown.

reported that the image from the global flight information service platform FlightRadar24 shows the real-time flight dynamics of the aircraft. The aircraft circled over the area before returning to Boston Logan Airport.

American Airlines did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson for the Massachusetts Port Authority told Fox News: "The plane has ‘safely landed’."
